Luang Phor Um is a guru monk that is famous and well-known for his Phae (goat) amulet. Luang Phor Um was born in BE 2408. Luang Phor Um studied Wicha from Luang Phor Sangthaow Wat Kongchin. Luang Phor Sangthaow was Luang Phor Tim Wat Lahanrai’s uncle and was also the one that passed Luang Phor Tim the book to allow him to consecrate Khun Paen Phong Prai Guman. Luang Phor Um is famous for his goat amulet as devotees have experienced positive feedback when wearing the goat amulet. Luang Phor Um would usually put his goat amulets in a alm bowl filled with scented oil, when devotees ask for the goat amulet, Luang Phor Um will chant until the goat amulet run out of the bowl mysteriously, which thought to be ""alive"" amulet." But, due to the high price (usually amounting to hundreds of thousands of baht), and many imitation pieces available than the genuine ones. Many devotees would rent Luang Phor Lard’s goat amulet. Luang Phor Lard was the disciple of Luang Phor Um. And Luang Phor Lard has mastered all the skills and incantations required directly from Luang Phor Um to consecrate Phae (goat) amulets. Luang Phor Um passed away in BE 2495 at the age of 87.
