Luang Phor Oun

Luang Phor Oun Wat Tankong is one of the venerable and well-known guru monks in the province of Petchaburi who passed on at the age of 94 years old. 

He was born on 9th March BE 2549 and is the first child of his family. At the age of 20, he was ordained at Wat Tankong on 21 July BE 2479. His preceptor was Phra Ah Ti Gaan Chan Wat Maap Bpaa Kao, Luang Phor Piw Wat Tankong as his teacher. After his ordination, Luang Phor Oun practiced Buddhism and magic under the guidance of Luang Phor Piw who was known for his magic in the province of Petchburi. Luang Phor Oun would also often travel to Wat Nong Mai Leuang which is located at Hua Hin to learn magic about Naga. Luang Phor Oun was very hardworking and due to this he was able to master all the magic from Luang Phor Piw. And is considered Luang Phor Piw’s famous disciple. In addition, Luang Phor Oun also traveled to Wat Dtanoht. As he would seek the guidance from another guru monk, Luang Phor Thong Suk. Luang Phor Thong Suk Wat Dtannoht is well known for his meditation and his magic science for making the highest level of metta sacred powder. Luang Phor Thong Suk could see the strong determination & persistence of Luang Phor Oun to master magic science.

So he imparted all his knowledge about his magic to Luang Phor Oun. Luang Phor Oun is not the only monk that learns magic from Luang Phor Thong Suk. In fact, Luang Phor Kam Wat Nong Gae, Luang Phor Yit Wat Nang Jok, Luang Phor Nim Wat Kao Noi, Luang Phor Pim-ma-lai Wat Hup Maklam, Luang Phor Op Wat Tham Gaew, Luang Phor Paew Wat Dtanoht Luang and Luang Phor Lae Wat Phra Soong also learn magic from Luang Phor Thong Suk before. Just before Luang Phor Thong Suk agreed to teach Luang Phor Oun, there was a small incident. There is an invitation for a major chanting ceremony, Luang Phor Thong Suk sent Luang Phor Oun to represent on behalf of him. Through this, it shows that Luang Phor Thong Suk has acknowledged that Luang Phor Oun has reached a certain level of attainment in his magic.

During his stay under the guidance of Luang Phor Thong Suk, he happened to get to know Luang Phor Jan Wat Maduk Katharunwan who was a relative of Luang Phor Thong Suk. Due to this reason, Luang Phor Oun also studied magic under the guidance of Luang Phor Jan. One of the well-known magic of Luang Phor Thong Suk is called Phong Phra Jan Krueng Seek which is extremely difficult to master due to many factors. Phong Phra Jan Kreung Seek is a sacred powder with Metta Maha Niyom and high level of Puthakun however, there are many restrictions to follow while consecrating. After his guidance with Luang Phor Thong Suk. Luang Phor Oun travels to Wat Maap Bplaa Kao to study magic science from Phra Ah Ti Gaan Chan. Luang Phor Oun also learned magic science from Ajarn Moh Mor and Luang Phor Sawai Wat Preedaram.

Luang Phor Oun passed away 31st October BE 2553 at the age of 94 after serving 74 years in monkhood. 

Luang Phor Oun是泰國十九大高僧之一，師父在BE 2553 10月31日圓寂, 享年94歲，僧侶生涯一共74年. Luang Phor Oun 生於1916年3月9日，是家中的長子. 當他20歲的時候就依傳統風俗，出家為僧, 法名Sukhakamo. 出家後，隨Luang Phor Piw Wat Tankong 以及Luang Phor Thong Suk Wat Dtannoht 學習各種法術與禪修. 影響Luang Phor Oun 最大的是Luang Phor Thong Suk. Luang Phor Thong Suk Wat Dtannoht 是Petchburi 高僧之一. 

據說連泰王也微服去拜訪. 請 Luang Phor Thong Suk 刺符. 當時Luang Phor Thong Suk也不以為意，不知道眼前這位就是皇上. 事後，皇上才向Luang Phor Thong Suk表露身份. Luang Phor Thong Suk知道後，當場把刺符用的針折斷，從此不再為其他人刺符了.因為，這針已為至尊的皇上所用. 由此可知，Luang Phor Thong Suk 的功力.

話說回來, Luang Phor Thong Suk 願意收 Luang Phor Oun 為徒是因為他覺得Luang Phor Oun是個可造之材，為人也很好，加上跟Luang Phor Piw也是好朋友，於是選好日子，叫 Luang Phor Oun 到他的寺院，正式拜Luang Phor Thong Suk 為師. 

Luang Phor Oun生性慈祥，為人正直，持戒清淨. 從小就對各種法術感興趣. 但隨著年紀的長大而對生死輪回感到厭倦而想到出家. 這一出家，就是74年. 曾經接觸過 Luang Phor Oun的人都會覺得Luang Phor Oun可不是普通的和尚. 他的智慧與定力深厚. 曾經，隨手拿起一塊石頭，用心念經加持，石頭也變成不是普通石頭了.

Luang Phor Oun 出家一段時間就開始行腳到森林修行. 他走遍各方，遇到他的人都對他非常恭敬. 直到一次，有人願意捐給他面積近5000英畝的土地. Luang Phor Oun問他: 你希望這塊地怎麼利用? 那個人說：我希望用來建寺院，學校，以及衛生中心.於是, Luang Phor Oun 就委派徒弟去那兒建寺院，學校等。有學生200余人.故事雖然才剛開始傳出去不久，但是他的大名早在30多年前，就傳揚在Petchburi. 他是僧人的良好模範，他的修行嚴持戒律，不追求名利地位，一生甘於平淡. 他的一生，只有濟助眾生，散播慈悲於世人。此為，他也建寺院，馬路、學校等，為後世打好基礎. 他的一個特征就是“有話直說”，心口合一。不會轉彎抹角. 沒有任何的掩飾。想知道什麼，都可以問。知道的，他就回答. 知道，不知道的，他就回答不知道。弟子們從來沒看到Luang Phor Oun 發脾氣. 師父是一個戒行清淨，慈悲為懷，鼓勵弟子學習，每年還撥款頒發獎勵金給附近九所學校的學生.

曾經有位善信佩戴了Luang Phor Oun的佛牌後還出現過被人用槍射擊數槍奇蹟生還的神蹟，當時的善信被槍打過後，身體一點沒事，只是衣服上破了很多的洞而已.
