Luang Phor Boon is the abbot of Wat Thung Hiang in Chonburi Province. He is known to be a good monk as there are plenty of devotees that love and respect him. Luang Phor Boon devotes himself to Buddhism. Luang Phor Boon would even travel to the hill tribes area in Northern Thailand to teach the villagers education. Luang Phor Boon is also well-known for his amulet as they are famous for bringing wearers good luck, wealth and protection. In fact, Luang Phor Boon has been in monkhood for more than 60 years.

Luang Phor Boon was born on 12th February BE 2474 in Chonburi Province. Since young, Luang Phor Boon has had an interest in Buddhism. It was until at the age of 20 that Luang Phor Boon was ordained as a monk. By the year BE 2529, Luang Phor Boon began to go Tudong.

Luang Phor Boon went to Tudong on the mountain in Chiang Mai Province, northern Thailand. It was during then that Luang Phor Boon saw that the hill tribes lived inconveniently. Most of them had no education as they were poor. So, Luang Phor Boon taught them Dharma and suggested that they should respect Buddhism. Soon, there was a group of tribe boys that was ordained as a novice. In this way, they could learn how to read and write in Thai language. After that, Luang Phor Boon established a Dharma school and the foundation at his temple for the hill tribes that are located in the Northern Provinces of Thailand such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son and many more areas. For more than 20 years, Luang Phor Boon has dedicated himself to help the hill tribes in Thailand. More than 2,000 hill tribes have education and better life through the help of Luang Phor Boon. In exchange, Luang Phor Boon does not want any reward as he does it by his heart. 

Luang Phor Boon has also studied Wicha and Dharma from guru monks such as Luang Phor Suang, Luang Phor Promma and Phor Than Klai.
