Luang Phor Kram

Luang Phor Kram

Wat Phra Ngern of Nonthaburi Province is located at Talingchun Suphanburi Road, Klong Bangmuang Sud-District of Bang Yai. There used to be a former abbot of Wat Phra Ngern that is very well-known. That is Luang Phor Kram.

Luang Phor Kram is known to be the disciple of many guru monks. Just to name two of his teachers, they are Luang Phor Boon Wat Klang Bang Kaew and Luang Phor Parn Wat Bang Nom Kho.

Most of his amulet clearly shows an unique style of pim that indicated that he was a disciple of Luang Phor Parn. His amulets are highly distinctive, stylised and beautiful making most of them instantly recognisable. Although Luang Phor Kram had passed away more than 70 years ago these amulets are still in great demand and are highly sought-after by amulet collectors. A unique feature in many of his amulets is turtle or Phra Phaya Taoreun on the reverse. On top of that, some of his most popular pims are made from sacred black powder called Phong Phayataoreun, composed of baked soil and bailan powder. It is believed that these amulets are very efficacious and in particular for protection and boosting of luck, particularly in court cases and legal affairs. It has been rumoured that if a wearer of the amulet writes their name and birth date on a piece of paper and places the amulet upon the paper they could win their disputes or court battles.

Luang Phor Kram also consecrated many different amulets including Takrut.

Luang Phor Parn Wat Bang Nom Kho Luang Phor Boon Wat Klang Bang Kaew.
