Luang Phor Tone (some would spell as Luang Phor Toon or Luang Phor Thon) was born on 2nd July BE 2466 in Chonburi Province. Luang Phor Tone only got ordained as a monk at the age of 30 on 14th June BE 2495 at Wat NernSangSaRueDaRam, Chonburi Province. Nowadays, Luang Phor Tone is well-known for his amulets and the help that he offers to people who are in need of it. It is also known that he has the knowledge of traditional medicine, especially the way of making holy water.

Something that not everyone knows is that Luang Phor Tone is in fact the senior disciple of Luang Phor Tim Wat Lahanrai. In fact, they both even consecrated a batch of amulets in BE 2515 which later on Luang Phor Tim donated to Wat Kao Noi Kiriwon. It is believed that Luang Phor Tone is the most senior disciple of Luang Phor Tim followby Luang Phor Sin Wat Lahanyai and then Luang Phor Sakorn Wat Nong Krub.

Amongst the monks in Chonburi Province, Luang Phor Tone is considered one of the guru monks in the Province. However, Luang Phor Tone might not be very well-known in other countries due to the fact that he is very humble and does not like any publicity that means he would also decline interviews with any reporter. Yet, he is still very much well-respected in Chonburi Province even till he passed on 30th April BE 2551.

In BE 2512, Luang Phor Tone moved to KhaoNoi. At that period of time, there was no temple in that area and Luang Phor Tone would stay there with just a cushion and an umbrella. Soon people noticed him and admired his behavior. So they decided to build a small house for him to stay. In the later part, the small house was then developed into a temple. And the Sangha Association of Thailand announced that the temple will be named as“Wat Khao Noi Khi RiWan”.

Since we guys now know that Luang Phor Tone is one of the disciples of Luang Phor Tim. Some might wonder whether Luang Phor Tone has the Phong Prai Kuman powder with him. It is believed that in BE 2519 after Luang Phor Tim had passed on, the Phong Prai Kuman powder was being kept by Luang Phor Tone as instructed by Luang Phor Tim himself. The Phong Prai Kuman powder was given to Luang Phor Sakorn in BE 2530 whereby Luang Phor Sakorn consecrated his 1st batch of Khun Paen amulet. In fact, one year earlier in BE 2529 Luang Phor Tone had already consecrated his first batch of Khun Paen amulet. And whenever Luang Phor Sakorn or Luang Phor Sin needed Phong Prai Kuman powder, they would ask from Luang Phor Tone. Hence, it is believed that Luang Phor Tone’s Khun Paen amulets also contain Phong Prai Kuman powder.
