Luang Phor Boonmak

Luang Phor Boonmak Wat Po was born on 7th November BE 2472 In Nakhon Pathom Province. Since the age of 12, he had been staying with Phra Kru PohTiSaRaKhun (Luang Phor Nuan) who was the abbot of Wat Po at that time. Then Luang Phor Boonmak ordained as a novice at the age of 13 and started to study Dharma. By the time he was at the age of 28, he was ordained as a monk. However, later on he disrobed and started having his own family. By BE 2518, Luang Phor Boonmak was ordained as a monk once again. 

In BE 2486, he passed an examination and got himself a 3rd grade as a religious student. Within the next 2 years, he got his 2nd grade. In fact, Luang Phor Boonmak finished his learning for Pali Grammar within 3 years and on top of that he participated in the building of 16 temples. 

Luang Phor Boonmak is known to be an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. On top of that, he also went to study magic and Yant composition from Luang Phor Parn Wat Bang Nom Kho. After learning from Luang Phor Parn, Luang Phor BoonMak also went to study the art of consecrating Palakit from Luang Phor Aee Wat Sattaheep, Chonburi Province who has deep knowledge of Visha and is highly respected in Thailand. Also, Luang BoonMark had learned the art of consecrating amulets from Luang Phor Chong Wat Natangnok. 

Luang Phor Boonmak passed on 11th January BE 2551 at the age of 79.
