Luang Phor Sood

Luang Phor Sood Wat Kalong was born on the 7th May BE 2445. He was ordained as a novice monk at the age of 16. When he was older, he was promoted and given the title "Phra Kru Samut Thammasunthon". Luang Phor Sood was known for his mystical knowledge and he also created the famous "Yant Takraw '' which resembles the Takraw ball.

Yant Takraw was made potent by Luang Phor Sood using his knowledge of Khmer and Laos incantations and inscriptions. The Yant was created to protect the wearer from ammunition as Luang Phor Sood did mention that when the bullet is fired, it will not penetrate the skin, flesh and bone.

In fact , there is a story about Teeyai and Luang Phor Sood. As the well-known Teeyai was in fact a disciple of Luang Phor Sood. Teeyai was said to be able to evade arrest by wearing an amulet and takrut consecrated by Luang Phor Sood. The story goes on with Teeyai getting shot and running from the police. Someone knew that the person running was Teeyai, gave him a lift in his car and even drove past a police roadblock without any trouble. The police caught Teeyai only after he misplaced the amulet given by Luang Phor Sood.

Luang Phor Sood also learned from various famous guru monks, such as:  Luang Phor Mao Wat Klang Phanom Phrai, Luang Phor Roong Wat Thakarabeua and Luang Phor Kong Wat Bangkraphom. Luang Phor Mao was the first guru monk that Luang Phor Sood studied with since he was ordained as a novice monk at the age of 16. Followed by Luang Phor Roong Wat Thakrabeua, whereby Luang Phor Sood was the Chief Monk of District in BE 2484, he was involved in the consecration of Luang Phor Roong's 1st batch medal. Noticeably, Luang Phor Roong's most famous disciple was Luang Pu Toh Wat Pradoochimplee. Lastly, Luang Phor Sood also studies magic from Luang Phor Kong Wat Bangkraphom, whom he respected the most.

On 14 August BE 2526, Luang Phor Sood passed away at the age of 81 years old.

Luang Phor Sood was also the preceptor of Chao Khun Maha Surasak Wat Pradoo.

Lp Sood Wat Kalong 是一个高知名度的师傅. 说起与老虎有关的圣僧，大家一定会脱口而出Wat Bang Phra 的Luang Phor Pern，但在 Luang Phor Pern 之前, Luang Phor Sood 所督造有老虎圣物的也是非常出名。师傅的几帮灵验自身牌也让如今成为泰国佛牌界无人不识的圣品之一。Luang Phor Sood 也曾是如今制作管符名气很高的 Chao Khun Surasak的戒师。师傅于佛历2526圆寂后，寺庙决定将师傅火化，但神奇的是，火化 Luang Phor Sood 其肉身后骸骨却整副完整地保存了下来，任凭猛火怎样大也化不掉，然而泰国人都相信师傅是已经修成阿罗汉的圣僧，尸身也成不腐金身了。后来经过庙镇理事们的商量，决定将 Luang Phor Sood 的骸骨安放在Wat Kalong，让信众可以继续到寺庙中参拜师傅。当时泰国多份新闻报章都有不同头条版面去报道这件事极为轰动一时泰星马佛教界。Luang Phor Sood 与著名悍匪Tee Yai此事件发生应该有几十年前，在泰国中部地区出现一班凶狠捍匪，这班捍匪头目名字就是最后将其真人真事至今已经超过三次抄搬上大银幕“悍匪”中的Tee Yai，银幕里䁬送改变Tee Yai一生的避险圣物的白衣法师”Ajhan Sook Jai”就是改演着龙仔厝府 Wat Kalong的Luang Phor Sood. 讲述当年的Tee Yai每日闲空时经常去Wat Kalong 帮忙庙务等，某日机缘下拜 Luang Phor Sood 为师并得三枚师父的护身圣品当为祝福(据我了解是一支符管与二枚师父自身牌)，那时的Tee Yai贫困中努力为自己人生目标奋斗。但时过不久因误交损友然而令他陷入日后重重危机生涯里，不过Tee Yai切每次在警方的围捕中轻易闪避脱身，每次警官只能捕获其同犯而熬恼。但熬恼中的警官在盘问捕获的犯人口供中并得到Tee Yai生活中的一些生活习惯等资料，其中一位属龙仔厝府区警官竟然被犯人口中讲出Tee Yai日常挂身的 Luang Phor Sood 护身圣物等数据而震惊过来并感觉要捕获Tee Yai就必需去一趟卡龙佛寺拜见 Luang Phor Sood。描述到这读者们也应该猜到Tee Yai最后结果是怎样了。警方拜见 Luang Phor Sood 后不久便得到Tee Yai同乡中帮助偷取走他身上龙婆术护身圣物并被警方一举围灭身亡，当然当年被他击亡的警人人数也不少。Tee Yai于龙仔厝府，佛历2495出生，捍匪生涯整十年之久，身亡时岁数大概近三十岁左右。从此在新闻散播后也让所有泰国佛牌收藏者对龙婆 Sood和Tee Yai有着不解之缘。
