Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam was born on BE 2460 in Tambon Sali, Suphanburi Province. He is known as the “Black Tongue Monk.”  When Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam was six years old, he started to learn about Thailand's ancient medicine. At the age of 15 years old, he went to Bangkok to stay with his grandmother. 4 years later, when he reached the age of 19, he became a pharmacist in the Naval Medical Department of Royal Thailand Navy. 

1 year later, which is BE 2480 he decided to ordained as a Budhhist monk in Wat Bang Nom Kho. 

Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam had many highly revered teachers during his monkshood. He was the direct disciple of Luang Phor Parn. Luang Phor Parn also passed down the well-known  “Millionaire Katha'' knowledge to Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam. Other than learning from Luang Phor Parn, he also studied dharma and magic with Luang Phor Jong Wat Na Tang Nok, Ajarn Lek Wat Bang Nom Kho, Phra Kru Rattana Pirom Wat Baan Pan, Phra Kru Udom Samajarn Wat Nam Tao, Luang Phor Soon Wat Bang Mor, Luang Phor Niam Wat Noi, Luang Phor Noi Wat Ampawan and Luang Phor Nueng. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam had attained great dharma and meditation powers at a very young age. In BE 2492, he started adopting ascetic practices during rain retreat. Later on, he received an invitation to return to Wat Bang Nom Kho to be the abbot.

Luang Phor Lingdam got a severe illness in BE 2500. After recovery, he traveled to the Northern Province and settled at a deserted temple, Wat Tha Sung in BE 2511. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam then became the abbot of Wat Tha Sung for 24 years. He took the duty to repair and expand the temple that is in ruins till it became prosperous today. Wat Tha Sung is worth nearly one billion baht now.

Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam was not only the abbot of Wat Tha Sung. he used to be the abbot of Wat Saphan as well. Wat Saphan is located in the Chainat Province. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam was always in a highly meditative state, his six senses were fully opened all the time. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam had magic eyes and ears that could see and hear what ordinary people could not. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam could also foresee future events correctly. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam learned Supra Dhamma from Lord Buddha by meditating deeply and making out-of-bodying to Niphan celestial where Lord Buddha presents. Luang Phor Lersi Lingdam has also created various amulets with the guidance of Lord Buddha.

Luang Phor Lingdam held many talks regularly and taught followers the primary focus of Nirvana attainment with the right conducts. His talks were often broadcasted on live TV and radio. Luang Phor Lingdam passed away on BE2535. However, his body is not decomposed.
