After his ordination, Luang Phor Hok set his heart on Dharma and meditation. 3 years after he was ordained, he often visited Wat Khao Noi Kiriwan which is at Chonburi Province. Luang Phor Hok would go there to have a talk with Luang Phor Tone as they are close friends. In fact, Luang Phor Hok knew Luang Phor Tone for a long time as when they were young they both worked as workers in the same wood factory. But because Luang Phor Tone is older than Luang Phor Hok, Luang Phor Hok would address Luang Phor Tone as brother. 10 years after his ordination, Luang Phor Hok moved to Wat Ratreungsook which is also in Chonburi Province and was appointed as the abbot of the temple.

It is known that Luang Phor Hok is a simple monk. As he does not want anything other than peace in mind. He is also kind towards people and animals. Luang Phor Hok is also diligent. Every day, after he wakes up, he sweeps the leaves off the patio. Then he feeds the cats. When he has eaten his lunch, he would go to the chapel to do meditation. Luang Phor Hok never talks about his magical power towards his amulets as he believes the wearer would find the holiness of amulets by themselves. That is also one of the reasons why people love and respect Luang Phor Hok so much.
